Ordering

 

Website Orders: Place your order through www.getawaygifts.com. You will receive a confirmation email upon order completion.

Phone Orders: Call 770-257-0150 to place your order and ask questions with a live person! In the rare event that a person does not answer the phone during business hours, you may leave a message and we will return your call promptly.

Email Orders: Email orders to [email protected]. You will receive a confirmation email upon order completion. 

Branded Gift Tags

 

Our custom designed Branded Gift Tags are a small detail that make a huge difference. Complimentary with all gift orders and printed with the message “Enjoy!” and your company name, your guests will be clear that you are the thoughtful gift provider!  When you order over 250 gifts, we are happy to include any messaging of your choice as well as your logo complimentary.

Promotional items and some select gifts will not include gift tags.  For an additional charge, however, we can add a ribbon and gift tag to any item.  Call or email us for details.

Shipping & Handling

 

Your gifts will either be shipped via Fed Ex Ground or via freight depending upon the size of your order.  During check-out, you will be asked if you are able to receive freight deliveries.  If you are not able to do so, then your orders will arrive via FedEx Ground.

All orders will incur a 10% Shipping & Handling fee with a minimum of $15.   Exceptions may apply. 

Return Policy

 

All sales are final. Due to the nature of our hand-made gifts, most of which include gourmet items with shelf lives in addition to customized gift tags, we are unable to accept any returns.  Please feel free to order a sample in advance of placing a larger order to be certain it is exactly what you want!  In the event of damaged items, please call us within seven days of receipt so that we can remedy the issue.

Shelf Life

 

Shelf life varies depending on the gift. We work hard to strike the perfect balance between delicious foods and an acceptable shelf life. The minimum shelf life of all gifts is 3 months from the date we ship your order. We are more than happy to assist you in picking gifts with a longer shelf life if needed. 

Natural Variance

 

As part of the natural, hand-made and often rustic essence of our unique packaging selections, each gift may vary ever so slightly. This adds a bit of individual character and style to each gift. 

 

Substitutions

 

Although rarely does the need present itself, we reserve the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value and will do our best to contact you if it is significant.  In addition, we always try to select other top, name brands should a substitution be required.

Will my gift be as beautiful as the ones on the website?

 

Yes! Our gifts are handmade to an exact standard.  Our team of gift makers who average well over a decade of experience, carefully place everything inside the gift in an identical manner. The ribbons will be almost identical…the angle of the bow, even the length of the ribbon ends will be measured and cut to the 1/2 cm.  The consistency and quality control from gift to gift and order to order is truly impressive.  We have made gift making a science! 

Your gifts arrive completely ready for the gifting!  Our hope is that they are more beautiful in person than in the photos!

Brand It!

 

Brand-It! Is our unique, fast and easy way of making your gifts customized exclusively for your destination and guests!  Choose from any of the Brand It! options below for impressive personalization and wow.  (For totally custom offerings, please see our Custom Gifts section.)

GIFTS WITH BRANDED ITEMS allow you to imprint your logo and/or company name on an item that is part of a gift.  For example, let us imprint your logo on the Dominos, sticker or tote bag that is part of your gift!  We are proud to offer this amenity at a mere $.75 per gift plus a one-time set-up fee of $55.

In 30 years of professional gifting, we have learned that receiving a GIFT is very different from being given an array of self-promoting items.  One is a GIFT all about them.  The other is more like an advertisement.   Our recommendation is to keep 80% of the gift entirely about the recipient.  If less than 20% of the gift is promoting your company, then it will feel like a gift!  By skillfully walking this line, you can create the perfect offering that is truly an amazing and unexpected gift yet still sends your guests home with something with which to remember you.  Gifts with Branded Items offer you several great options that perfectly walk that line and ensure your guests will feel GIFTED!

ADD-ON’S are unique, fun, sometimes imprinted items that we can easily add to your gift to make it uniquely your own!  Add an imprinted deck of cards that will inspire a game-night!  Add a couple packets of hot cocoa to warm bellies on a cool winter evening by the fire.  Whatever your guests might enjoy, we want to include!  Call or message us any time with new Add-On ideas!

PROMOTIONAL ITEMS, specifically chosen for the short-term rental industry are also offered.  And, if you don’t see it on our website, we can source any promotional item you want.  We are also happy to add a ribbon and gift tag to your promotional items for an additional fee.  Call or email and we’ll be happy to help!  

MAKE IT LOCAL is one of our favorite missions.  It is wonderful to both offer both local flavor and flair and to support local businesses.  That said, part of operating a successful business means operating efficiently and keeping the bottom line in mind.  We love helping you navigate these waters!  Options include very customized packaging…perhaps there’s a local scene on your packaging or ribbon that boasts your company tagline.  Inside your gifts, we love custom inserts that guide your guests to the best surf areas, best oysters or most intimate musical venues. We are also happy to source quintessential items for your gifts…whether that be pralines from down the road to favorite chocolates showcasing your pier or peak.  We are excited to work with you to find the perfect balance of a bespoke, local gift that meets your budget and keeps your team working as efficiently as possible!

Corporate Accounts & Custom Gifts

 

For the ultimate level of customization, let us create a gift that is uniquely yours inside and out!  Some of the many benefits of gift made to your exact specifications include:

-A secure and private portal on our website for viewing and purchasing gifts online. 

Prior to creating a custom gift, we require payment of a $350 Design Fee per gift. Upon receipt of payment, our Creative Department will begin collaborating with you to design the perfect gift to your exact specifications. Custom gifts require a commitment to purchase a minimum of $20,000 of that particular gift. Once the commitment is met, Getaway Gifts will reimburse all Design Fees.

In addition to the minimum dollar commitment mentioned above, the client will need to agree to purchase all unused inventory that is exclusive to your gift at the end of the term.  All gift designs and concepts will remain the intellectual property / copyright of Get-away Gifts.

General Policies and Procedures 

 

Your gifts will either be shipped via Fed Ex Ground or via freight depending upon the size of your order and the receiving capabilities you select during your account creation or Check-Out.  Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.

We reserve the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value & will do our very best to inform you of any such changes. 

Returns will not be accepted as all sales are final.  

As part of the natural, hand-crafted, and often rustic essence of our gifts, each gift may vary slightly adding individual character.

We accept all major credit cards and ACH payments. All payments are made at the time the order is placed.

Your completion of the Gift Tag Approval (if applicable), and General Policies & Procedures is a one-time event that concludes your initial set-up, will be applicable for all future orders, and will be kept on file at Get-away Gifts. 

Pricing may vary without prior warning.

Any disputes (regarding payment, etc.) must be handled in the state of Georgia.

Promotional Policies and Procedures

 

Please estimate approximately 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. Your imprinted items will be shipped ground service unless otherwise requested at the time you place your order.

Many of our imprinted items can arrive sooner. If you have a firm in-hands date, please let us know.

Please be prepared to accept and pay for up to a 10% over run or up to 10% under run. You will not be charged for items that you do not receive due to an under run.

Returns and/or exchanges will not be accepted due to the nature of custom printing of promotional items. Please review your art proof carefully!

We accept all major credit cards and ACH payment.

Prices on promotional items may occasionally vary without prior warning.

 Any disputes (regarding payment, etc.) must be handled in the state of Georgia.

Artwork Policies and Procedures

 

Artwork should be submitted to [email protected]. Vector format is preferred. Acceptable file types are .jpg, .png, .psd, .ai, .eps, and .pdf. If you do not have a file in one of these format, simple artwork assistance is available free of charge. You may also select a logo design from our online templates. We will email up to 2 proofs of the design or your provided logo, shown in context of your chosen promotional item. Additional proofs will incur a $35.00 charge.

Colors of the items displayed in our catalog, online, and in your proof may vary slightly from the actual item due to photography and printing intricacies.

Prices are based on one color/one location imprint. Additional fees may be charged for PMS color matching, metallic ink, multi-color, and multi-location imprinting.

After placing your order and receiving a proof of your artwork, should you need to cancel your order, you will be billed a $25 cancellation fee as well as any other art, set-up or production charges that have occurred to date (which could include production of the entire order).

For more advanced art needs, we are happy to help for an hourly fee of $75 per hour.
